A celebration of 5 years of The Last Gallery

The Local Show
Weekends 30th June – 19th August
A celebration of 5 years of The Last Gallery

A show incorporating work from seventeen artists who have previously exhibited at the gallery. The show also extends to the windows of local shops in Queen's Square Llangadog.
‘The Local Show’ was given to participating artists as a theme to link the artworks. Not only does the show run through the summer when local agricultural shows occur (eg The Llangadog Show) but it is in itself a local show with many of the contributing artists living in the local area. The theme has been interpreted in a variety of ways.

We both wish to thank all the artists who have shown with us over the years. We also would like to thank the many visitors and supporters. Without you all we would not be here. We hope you all continue to visit and show with us for another 5 years.
Happy 5th Birthday The Last Gallery

Siop grudd a gweithdy oedd galeri The Last yn wreiddiol a death yn oriel gelf cyntaf Llangadog. Yn 2012 bydd y galeri wedi bod ar agor ers 5 mlynedd yn rhan o’r gymuned leol sy’n ffynnu. Gwelodd le fel gem creadigol annisgwyliadwy mewn ardal wledig.
Prif nod y galeri yw i ddangos celf gyfoes a chefnogi artistiaid cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol. Arddangosodd dros 50 artist yn y galeri yn y blynyddoedd diwethaf ac mae’r gymuned yn aml yn lleisio eu boddhad ar yr amrywiaeth o gelfyddyd sydd yn cael ei gynnig.
Mae’r galeri yn ddi-griw sydd yn annog bobl i ymweld heb bwysau. Mae pob ymdrech yn cael ei wneud i gyfieithu deunydd yr arddangosfeydd I’r Gymraeg fel bod neb yn cael eu heuthrio. Cafoddd y galeri ei ymweld gan bobl o ar draws Prydain a gan dwristiaid o mor bell ac Awstralia
Yn parhau i weithio o’r galeri mae’r perchnogion a’r curaduron Julie a Mick, Julie fel artist a Mick fel clustogwr.

Hoffwn ni’n dau ddiolch i’r holl artistiaid sydd wedi dangos gyda ni dros y blynyddoedd. Hefyd hoffwn ddiolch I’n hymwelwyr a’n cefnogwyr. Hebddoch chi gyd ni fydden ni yma. Gobeithiwn y byddwch yn parhau i ymweld a dangos gyda ni dros y 5 mlynedd nesaf.
Penblwydd Hapus ’r The Last Gallery.
