Duncan McDonald Johnson and Jacob Buckland

Duncan McDonald Johnson and Jacob Buckland
1st - 24th November

Beyond the Usk Reservoir’ – Watercolour, Graphite, Gouache
Duncan’s paintings mark the passage of time and season in the landscape.
Focusing on often overlooked places, direct observational painting and drawing conveys the subtlety of the subject.
Duncan lives in Llangadog and responds to the landscape within a few miles of the village.
‘Angel’ – Oil on linen.
Jacob’s work reflects personal observations and feelings about a place, often focusing on rural landscape and nature.
Originally from Shropshire, Jacob moved to Wales in 2006, having studied at the Royal College of Art in London, and Carmarthenshire College of Technology and Art in Wales.

These paintings and drawings have been inspired by his time spent in West Wales.
This joint exhibition is open each weekend in November from 10am to 6pm (both Sat & Sun).
