Yvonne Lee Vestige Weekends 31st March -1st April, 7th-8th, 14th-15th April 10am-5pm In this her first show at The Last Gallery, Yvonne exhibits her new embroidery and porcelain pieces. Her upbeat embroidery-hoop wall pieces are produced using free hand machine embroidery and up-cycled fabrics and depict a combination of contemporary and vintage inspired imagery in brightly coloured threads. Yvonne’s intricate drawings celebrate traditional Carmarthenshire architecture are hand drawn onto delicate white porcelain dresses and mounted on textiles and lace work. Beautifully crafted porcelain keys are displayed alongside her textile pieces. These vintage pieces combine a sense of fun with skilled craft, something to admire and make us smile. Since graduating from Coleg Sir Gar in 2004 with a degree in Ceramics Yvonne has exhibited in various venues across the U.K. She currently works at the art college in Carmarthen. Ers graddio o Goleg Sir Gâr yn 2004 gyda gradd mewn Serameg, arddangosodd Yvonne mewn nifer o leoliadau ar draws y D.G. Gweithiau ar hyn o bryd yn y Coleg Celf yng Nghaerfyrddin.
